At Dream Team Construction, Quality Is Standard!

 

We demand quality checks through every step of the homebuilding process. In addition to the numerous inspections required by building codes, we offer four different quality checks to our customers as part of our internal quality control to ensure your ultimate satisfaction. Each Challenger customer is assigned a Personal Builder. This construction manager will oversee the building of your new home. This is your personal contact to answer your questions and make sure you have peace of mind. Your Personal Builder offers you four different quality checks:

  • Pre-Construction Meeting: before we start the framing of your home your Personal Builder meets with you to review final plans, layout, and your selections.

  • Pre-Drywall Walk: After the framing is finished, and the mechanical and electrical systems are being installed we invite you to come walk your home with us before we drywall and move to the finishes stage of construction.

  • Walkthrough: Construction is almost complete. This is your opportunity to walk the home and ensure everything is to your satisfaction. We also orient you to the operation, care, and maintenance of your home.

  • Final Walkthrough: Usually scheduled for the same day as your closing, this final walkthrough is to showcase your new home, make sure you know how everything works, and review any items from your walkthrough to ensure they have been completed to your satisfaction.

 

You're always welcome on the job site. Come by anytime to check on the progress of your home, take pictures, and be part of the experience. Building a new home is an exciting process. Have fun and enjoy the experience of your seeing your new home become a reality.

 

2' x 6" Exterior Walls

 

Every Challenger Home is built with 2”x6” superior exterior wall construction.

Using 2”x6” instead of 2”x4” costs a bit more but is absolutely worth every dollar. Not only is a 2”x6” wall substantially more rigid and strong; this 50% thicker wall allows for more insulation. Our R-19 Batt insulation keeps your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. 2’x6’ exterior wall construction makes your new Challenger home more energy efficient, saving your family money every month. Over the life of your home this amounts to incredible savings on energy costs.
A thicker wall with better insulation also makes the home more soundproof providing peace and quiet inside, even if there is a lot of activity going on outside.
 
Thicker walls and better insulation means a quieter home that is more energy efficient and less expensive to maintain.

 

90-100 Days Average Build Time

 

Challenger Homes offers the fastest average build time in town. We will complete your house, all the way from contract to closing in an average of 90-100 days. Obviously our timeline is contingent upon proper financing, design selections, permit approvals and the weather. 

Some may think that building fast hinders quality. In fact, the opposite is true. By operating with an efficient scheduling process we actually streamline the process and ensure our trade partners are building each part of the house the same way every time. Our goal is no down time, each time one building process is complete, the next trade partner is already lined up to come in for their part of the operation. 

Consistency, regularity, excellent processes and quality control checks lead to a high-quality product delivered quickly for you.

 

In-House Warranty

 

Many homebuilders sell their warranty immediately after the closing, leaving it up to a third-party service to hadle any issues covered by the warranty. 

That's not the way we do it at Challenger Homes. We keep our warranty in-house. We have a dedicated Warranty Team committed to servicing our existing customers throughout the warranty period. The day you close on your new Challenger home isn't the end of our relationship, rather it's just the beginning of being part of the Challenger family. If anything goes wrong, the same contractors who built your house come out and fix your house. We stand behind our work and are committed to our customers' satisfaction. At Challenger Homes, quality is non-negotiable and customer service is our top priority. Just another way we're making life better!
